“Outreach is more than just a program here at LH; it’s a calling to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. Through Outreach, we extend love, hope, and practical support to those who need it most. Years ago, I read a pastor’s charge to the local church wherein he said, “If your church were to be removed in the middle of the night from the community in which you are planted and nobody sheds a tear at your absence, your ministry was a failure.” This charge has always convicted me deeply, but, at the same time, inspired me greatly to be a church beyond our own four walls.

For me, Outreach isn’t just about what happens inside the church but about bringing light to those in darkness. Whether through acts of service, a simple conversation, or meeting physical needs, Outreach allows us to be a testimony of God’s love. It not only strengthens our mission and deepens our faith but reminds us that we are all called to reach the lost and make disciples.”
