I think I started to watch some of the LH sermons on YouTube around the beginning of 2019…I listened to one sermon and was hooked :)

When COVID hit Germany in March 2020, I started watching the Sunday service regularly. I continued watching Lighthouse services because even though God speaks to me through our local pastor, He also speaks to me through the pastors at Lighthouse and has given me so much “sustenance” through them.

I now regularly watch the services at the beginning of the week and then eagerly await the next Sunday because I can’t get enough of them ;)

I feel really connected to Lighthouse, even without meeting anyone in person, and I believe God is using this time to connect Christians all over the world while also really calling them to go all-in with him (this has been on my heart for a while before Lighthouse started with the Heart & Soul Campaign).

Lighthouse has been an anchor for me. It’s like God puts something on my heart, and the following Sunday, pastor Sammy preaches about it, or pastor John puts it into clear words. I think that is why I feel so connected, and so much as a family, because our God is the One, and we are one body, and He moves in the same ways in the hearts of people in Maryland as He moves in the hearts of people here in Germany. It’s so encouraging!
