WHAT IS AN LH GROUP?
LH Groups are small gatherings of people who meet weekly in different locations around the area and online to hang out, talk about life, and learn more about Jesus. These groups are where people get to know each other, pray for one another, and support each other in their walk with Jesus.

WHY JOIN AN LH GROUP?
Hear it from past group members & leaders.
After going through a Freedom group, I knew the Lord was calling me to lead others in experiencing that same freedom He has for them. Leading the group grew and stretched me in ways that I would not have expected. It was incredible walking through Freedom with the ladies, seeing what God was revealing to them in their own lives, and witnessing them be vulnerable to break free from the things the enemy tried to keep them stuck in for so long. Through that vulnerability, we could support one another through our shared experiences, speak against any lies of the enemy, and pray for each other. Being in a small group really breaks down the lie that we are alone in our experiences and struggles. And even after the group has ended, we’ve built a community of friends who are still there to support one another through the ups and downs of life.
I have had the pleasure of leading a small group on and off over my time at LH. This one has been different since the jump, and although my wife and I technically do not lead together, we have been able to host separate small groups at our home for Young Adult men and women. The Book of the Bible studies that we have been able to go through has been nothing short of life-giving. Small groups have allowed me to discuss what the Bible is saying and hear how others are being spoken to from the Word of God. Some verses or sections may seem unclear to me, but another person in the small group understands what the Bible is saying and can help explain. Small groups break down our large church and allow my wife and I to make rich relationships with others in our community, and friendships that I pray will last a lifetime. We strongly encourage small groups and hope everyone can experience one.
Seeing people encounter the love of the Father, find their identity in Christ, and grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus through prayer and the leading of The Holy Spirit has been extremely rewarding! I have also grown in my faith by being used by Him and seeing The Lord move powerfully in our group. It is very rewarding to build relationships as close as family and serve my brothers and sisters in Christ.
